Cinnamon is a spice obtained from the inner bark of numerous tree species from the genus Cinnamomum, cinnamon is native to India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Myanmar; this spice is abundant in a substance called cinnamaldehyde, which is reported to have powerful medicinal properties.
In this recipe, chicken wings are enriched with the taste, aroma and good properties of ‘cinnamon’.
Quantity of chicken wings/ lollipops: approximately 15
- Marinate the chicken wings for at least ½ an hour in:
→ ½ tsp. of turmeric powder,
→ 2 tbsp. of white cooking vinegar,
→ 4 small pieces of cinnamon sticks (adequate enough for a fine cinnamon taste and aroma) – crushed into fine powder,
→ Salt – according to preference of taste.
- After coating the chicken wings in rice flour, deep fry the chicken wings in a shallow pan, in adequate quantity of warm, any mild flavour vegetable oil, for about 5 minutes in medium to low heat.
≈ These chicken wings will have the blended fine taste of – sweetness & sourness of the white cooking vinegar with the pleasant taste of the cinnamon.
