Butter Khichdi with French Beans


Khichdi has the perfect balance of basic nutrients necessary for energy, immunity and digestion, which is a preparation made from rice and lentils – along with French beans the preparation is enhanced with micro-nutrients, minerals and vitamins ( … and scoopful of butter makes it mouth-watering).

A magnetic recipe of Khichdi:

  • Into a mix of butter and vegetable oil fry slices of onion.
  • Add tomato slices, finely chopped French beans and salt.
  • Once the French beans pieces are cooked – add steamed rice and add thick coat of dal (lentil soup), and mix the melange.
