Sweet PUNCH of Bitter gourd

Love bitter gourd or hate it but you cannot deny its many health benefits. Start your new year with eating this vegetable, adding the sweetness of jaggery.

  • Chop bitter gourd into slices of semi-circle rings.
  • Add salt and keep it aside for 5-10 minutes, wash it again, squeeze out the excess water.
  • Sauté them   in oil for 5 minutes, add salt, add turmeric, add grated coconut and jaggery.
  • Add water just enough for the vegetable to cook.
